MOJO#269/PSPP - You Make Life Sweet!

Howdy friends!  Today I have a group of thank you cards that I created for some friends, I used the Paper Smooches Picture Perfect Challenge for this week (see photo below) and the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #269 for my layout. Before I get to my cards, I had some fun news to share, last week I participated in the Paper Smooches Cool Shades Challenge and the other day I found out that my card won as the PS Pro Stamper.  I was thrilled and honored to have my card chosen.
For all three of the thank you cards that I created I use the Paper Smooches stamp set Sugar Rush and the colors and patterns inspired by the Picture Perfect Challenge photo below and either the round or square layouts from the Mojo challenge which I turned on it's side.  For this first card I used the little cupcake from the Sugar Rush set, colored it with Copic markers, added a touch of glitter to the frosting and some Glossy Accents to the cherry.
For the second card I mixed up the designer papers and colored the fun soda fountain drink and again added some glitter using a Spica glitter pen and some Glossy Accents to the glass (see close up photo below).

For the final card I used the class full of something sweet to drink and repeated with the coloring and accents to the image and card.  All papers are My Mind's Eye from various paper packs and each of the cards were cut using Nestabilities dies.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

FSS/FTL#217 - Queen for the Day

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing my last Fresh Squeezed Stamps card as their November guest designer.  This month has flown by and I've enjoyed my time creating along with the women on the Fresh Squeezed team and the other guest designers.
I used the the fun FSS set Games People Play to create a birthday card and used the Clean & Simple FTL#217 Challenge for my layout.  I started out with a black card base, then die cut the hot pink scallops and adhered them along the right side of my card.  Then I added my piece of corner rounded polka dot paper, a strip of black cardstock and the letters I stamped from the Games People Play set.  The Queen chess piece was paper pieced and popped up on an embossed white piece of cardstock and given a black scallop mat.  Then as an accent I added two Prima flowers with a button and rhinestone.
I'll see ya back here tomorrow with my card for this week's Color Throwdown!
Have a great day!

CQC#164/RS#39/Dilly Beans - You're the Best!

Hi there!  The card I'm sharing tonight is one I created using three different challenges, the colors are from the Colour Queen Challenge #164 , the layout is from the Retro Sketches Challenge #39 and the card it self is for the Dilly Beans Challenge which is Anything Goes this week.
I ended up turning the sketch so it would work better with the Dilly Beans digital image I was working with, this was so fun to color.
Supplies: Dilly Beans digi image, Copics, Buttons, Twine, Embossing folder, Scallop border die, MFT sentiment, Glaze pen for the eyes, Foam tape.

PS Cool Shades/RS#38 - Seasons Greetings

Hi there!  Hope all of you that celebrated Thanksgiving enjoyed your day!  The card I have for today was created using two challenges, for the colors, I used the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge which was to use the color pallet below and for my layout I used the Retro Sketches Challenge #38 and turned the sketch on it's side.
The Cool Shades for the PS color challenge were far from your traditional Christmas colors but I was determined to use them to create a Christmas card with the fun new Paper Smooches stamp set Swanky Snowdudes that I recently purchased.  My card came together with a mix of different My Mind's Eye designer papers, Copic markers for coloring this cute image, some glitter, silver twine and a punched out snowflake with button.  For colors I used basic gray, ruby red and brocade blue card stock.
 Thanks for your visit!

FSS - Home is Where Your Heart is

Hi there friends!  Today I'm sharing another card I created using the fun new Fresh Squeezed Stamps set Winter Wonderland.  For my card I started out with a garden green card base, then added a panel of real red with a piece of white embossed cardstock on top.  Each of the tree images were stamped on different designer paper and cardstock then cut out with two of them popped up with foam tape and the cardinal bird and nest were added.  Last a strip of green cardstock with a border and ribbon were attached and a button added.
Supplies: Winter Wonderland - FSS, My Mind's Eye dp, Snowflake embossing folder, Ribbon, Button, Bakers twine, Scallop border punch, Copics, Foam tape.
